ABOUT THE ARTIST:

J. S. Dykes has created over five thousand illustrations for hundreds of clients, earning recognition and awards from The Society of Illustrators, The Los Angeles Society of Illustrators, Communication Arts, American Illustration, and 3x3 Illustration Annual. He was included as part of the Luerzer's Archive Top 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide. The Norman Rockwell Museum has acquired twenty-three of John’s original illustrations for their permanent collection. John’s work is also included in The New Britain Museum of American Art, and many private collections.

Since moving to his Boston studio, John is devoting more of his time to creating paintings for gallery exhibits and private commissions.

John has taught illustration at Rhode Island School of Design and New Hampshire Institute of Art and has widely presented his work.
